It means that the issues that our race faces, such as poverty and crime, should be understood as a result of our oppression and our race should be given more time to improve. We understand that we have high crime and pregnancy rates, it only makes it worst when the media makes us look like subhumans in the eye of whites by filling them with statistics without giving them the understanding that previous oppression is the root of the flaws within the black community at the moment. Give the black race time, we will improve just like every other oppressed race.

Ghetto mentality. You have young black males impregnating a different number of females and deciding that its easier to neglect and not take care of their responsibilities. In most cases, these are the same black males committing crimes and eventually landing in prison. Now you have a fatherless child growing up in a single home in the ghetto, thats make that child much more likely to follow the footsteps of his father. They have so strong male figure in their life and they become just another victim of peer pressure and eventually the ghetto mentality.

Thanks, that helps. Couple of serious questions.

1. What percentage of the responsibility for those actions do those young men hold? What percentage is the fault of white oppression in your opinion?

2. What reasonable steps can be taken to end the ghetto mentality? How should it be fixed?
