Yes when you are put into Ghettos, Red Lined, denied homes in certain areas because of the sound of your voice on the phone these things can happen. I think reparations is a ridiculous concept. It's the stuff of fringe groups and young, reactive types.
I also think it is more often brought up as something to oppose than it is as a serious suggestion.

It's best if we get past this idea, which is way off, and focus on how to correct the inequities created in the past systematically by leveling the playing field.
Reparations does not level the playing field in any way. It is more of a symbolic and emotionally-charged idea... and would greatly damage race relations if it was made law.

Because instead of bringing Blacks into society, we seperated them into their own underfunded sub society. If I was a black man living in todays world I would be pretty pissed of by how society just brushed my people aside.

This is an inaccurate statement. You really do not know anything about Africa or African history at all. It would be the same as looking at anybody from Europe as all being from the same place.

Most of the time, slavery that originated in Africa was one group invading another and then taking the people as slaves to be sold. (I'm going to avoid the word "tribe", but think of the same thing.) There are many different kinds of Africans and if you live there, they can discriminate where each came from by certain physical characteristics. We don't have that same ability--all blacks look the same to us.

That explains why they are mad at white people, and to an extent I can understand it. But it does not explain why they would not be mad at a black person who has ancestors that committed these horrid acts against their ancestors.
