Anyone who is in the race should be allowed to Debate!
Whether you agree with their veiws or not, they should be allowed to debate. -------------------------------------------------- I do not understand why there are certain requirements for the debates. I think many people get the information about the candidates from the debates, and we as the American people would be more informed about each candidate if we were able to see them all in a debate. I am ashamed of the Media. I am ashamed of ourselves for allowing the Media to make candidates sit outside, (Not even a ticket?!) for a debate. I wonder how many people would vote for Nader is they didn’t think they would be throwing away their vote. I hear many people say they like a third party better, but they know that the vote is wasted. Let the Third Party Candidates Speak!!! Or, are the two major parties afraid? It sure looks that way. http://www.usatoday.com/news/politic...r-debate_x.htm “Nader…wasn't allowed in the hall to even watch the debate, much less take part. Instead, he watched the debate with students on a big screen at the University Center Cafeteria…” – USA Today, 2004. http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2...e-over-debate/ “…Mr. Kucinich w[ill] not share the stage with the party’s three leading contenders, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Barack Obama, and John Edwards…”

I agree! However, have you seen some of the jokers that the minor parties run as candidates. If they could find people with more charisma and an ability to sell a platform, I think they could legitimately compete. Also, have you noticed that we are not a two party state? We are a one party state with a "republican" side and a "democratic" side. This party believes in a dictatorial executive, an intrusive legislature, a judiciary that licks the party's boots, and passing the buck to future generations. Does this not reflect democratic and republican deeds?

its funny (hahhahaha, cant stop the laughter) that kucinich is a democrat and treated like a 3rd party candidate, and ron paul, a republican, on all the debates i saw, both were not given the same speaking privelages, were excluded from questions, and given less time to answer, they must pay by the minute to speak.

ANY third party candidate? No, then everyone will run for president. Viable candidates who reach a certain percentage that isn't to high? Certainly. Possible to respected parties such as the Libertarian Party? Sure.

Less known canidates have less money and are unable to get their name out there. If we allow them in the debates people would see what they stand for and possibly vote for them. Exculing them gives an unfair advantage to Rich Canidates.
