Funny when i look at the poll results.

You can't say something like electricity was invented in Thailand and have nothing to substantiate your claim with. Since you made a similar statement of fact, now you must back it up.


Your argument has been debunked.

Whether there is or isn't, you've implied that there is by making such a statement of fact. Since you made that statement of fact, back it up with evidence.

You can if it is opinion. In that example, the vast majority of people would disagree with you.



If you believe it has been debunked, what are you worried about? Wont it be obvious to everyone else?

You can of course say it, but it would be a lie unless supported by evidence. What you're suggesting here is that since what you said isn't supported by evidence, then therefore it must be a lie.

Well then it should be noted for the record that you made 2 bold statements here, both of which were lies and will remain lies until you can back them up with evidence.

I can only lie if I am giving information I believe to be false. Since I dont believe my information is false, I am not lying.

Apparently "Neoconservative" is not the only word in english you are unfamilar with.

Well one component of a lie is intent and one can make a reasonable assumption of intent based on the falsehood that it's a lie. For a number of reasons, I'm not willing to give you the benefit of the doubt.

But you will concede that at best it's a falsehood and at worst a lie. And that's what you've engaged in in this thread.


I'm simply stating it for the record so that everyone is clear on your credibility, or lack thereof.

Explain to me how you can unintentionally lie.

If there is no intent, then there is no lie. You are merely mistaken. Being mistaken is not the same thing as lying. Being wrong is not the same thing as lying. Lying requires deliberate deception.


It is neither, so why would I concede that? I dont believe it is a falsehood, and the poll results seem to indicate I am not alone.
