IMO you should be able to marry. It's not your fault you are ill, after all and it seems the Government is discriminating against you because of it.
I have no problem with medically disabled people getting married, but having children is a little different - especially if an illness is likely to be passed on.

There are plenty of women who make less than 20K. You're just wanting your cake and eat it too.

you've said quite a bit more than that.

Matter of fact, the cost they are creating is but a drop in the bucket compared to professional tax payer fleecers such as Wall Street bankers and war mongers.
and? start a thread about it then.

But you don't seem to have a problem with them folks.
how did you come to this wild conclusion?

Just abortionists and now deadbeat dads.
just because wall street bankers weren't mentioned in the OP of an abortionist thread doesn't mean that they've been declared faultless.

you've failed to speak against genocide and slavery in this thread. does this mean that you condone genocide and slavery? use your brain. try to stay within context, instead of delving off into wild tangents.

What genocide and what slavery are you talking about?

equal freedoms perhaps? why do gays wish to marry? there are similiarities within the issues, although often unseen perhaps.

And why would the Government prevent him from marrying in the first place?
it's not so much a matter of prevention before the fact, but penalization after the fact.

Yeah, it would be good if we could all be equal.

I can say that that really, really sucks. Big time. I hope your friend is able to marry some day.

once i went steady with a girl making $80K per year. but we had to nix any marriage plans due to legal penalizations placed upon my disability status. so we parted ways.

i'm not aware of such a potential in my case, but i suppose that it could exist. i've never considered it.

any couple who have children past the age of 30 is likely to pass genetic weaknesses to their children, which may only manifest when the children get older.

marriages based upon finance as the main priority aren't likely to be successful. i've probably dated about fifty to a hundred women here and there. and i recall only one or two who've made less than $20K.

what the hell is a marriage then? isn't eating cake part of the idea? get real.

So date one who really makes money and she can pay for your meds. Be a bit more flexible.

You are telling me to get real - the guy who asks if abortionists (and others) should be neutered.
