Well how do you know. Are you all of Idaho and Eastern Washington? Eastern Oregon's values are nothing like Western Oregon's, but the majority of the population(VAST MAJORITY) agree with, or share some or all of these values.

Yes, but if more folks retire, than enter the workforce, you have a MAJOR problem. If (for example) 300 folks die in a month, but only 200 are born, you have a MAJOR problem.

There will always be immigrants, like there is now.
Sure about that? They're not immigrating to "Cascadia," they're immigrating to the northwest United States. Big difference.

Except this country and economy will take care of it's aging population, instead of screwing them like the U.S. does.
That's what you think. EVERYTHING becomes corrupted. Would "Cascadia" survive such corruption, being a minor country?

Well, considering that I live here, I guess I would know. the vast majority of Eastern Washington is Conservative, it is joked that Washington should really be two states

The rag-tag band of Sagebrush Rebels that the sovereign State of Cascadia could raise for an army would not be able to withstand the military might of the United States Army.

If we admit to having WMD's up front could we avoid an invasion?

Ridiculous. It wouldnt work and many should know that the US of A is an empire and thus would react militarily to secession, just as in the Civil War. Do the people of a hypothetical 'Cascadia' really want to risk getting smashed by the US military?

I've a few questions.

1. Could it survive without the USA? This region produces 450 billion in goods.
How much food and grain and gasoline does it produce?

A few states thought that almost 150 yrs ago. It didn't end well....

prior to the civil war it was possible.

They didn't last time it occurred. Since then we have become even more federalized, so I doubt very much that the feds will approve.
