I think people actually believe that the odds of failure are so great, that they never even try. I couldn't live like that, it would fry my brain. I have never even thought seriously that I would ever fail at anything. I have a plan just in case, but I don't believe there is any reason I should fail.

Default About National Health Care

Over the course of the last month, National Public Radio (NPR) has run a fantastic series detailing the structure, benefits, and drawbacks of European health care systems. In particular, NPR looked at Britain, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. Here is the link that takes you to the main page of the series:

http://www.npr.org/templates/story/s...oryId=91972152

Each country has its own sub-page, which contains two to three separate stories. Clicking on each story allows one to see the text or to click a button to listen. I recommend listening to each story.

For those of you who are convinced that all of Europe's systems are "Socialist" in nature, this will open your eyes (particularly the first story about France).

Enjoy!

You can make the same arguments in both industries. Without food good healthcare is irrelevant. And without heating oil having good health isn't going to help you in the long run.

Fraud in Medicare? Well, as the people who pay for Medicare, we should demand of the representatives we hired to put an end to it! Rather than sit around, complaining about it, let's do something! We hire the government, and they work for US.
Sounds good in theory, outside of letter writing you won't have much luck unless you can get people to vote on this as an issue for voting someone in or out office and that won't happen.
