im serious, in that i am making fun of people who think they are born gay-haters, gay hating gene? laughable!

and being raised in a streight, gay, or homophobic enviroment is differnet than being born that way ie a gayhating gene

Maybe you should try letting people do what you think is wrong if they don't hurt anyone.

Leave people free to do what they want so long as they don't infringe on your freedom. Freedom is what this country was founded on; it's tough luck if you don't like it.

I didn't vote I don't think of gays as being poor. Why can't people just live their lives? why do they think they have the right to interfer in other peoples lives?Acceptance is the only way. We must all move on it is really no ones business other then the person themselves. I do believe gays are born to be gay Making a baby is a very complex thing wires get crossed I don't know I hope I did not offend anyone it is not my intent.

Do you know what it is like to be a homosexual and to be put through the crap we are put through daily for being the way we are? No.

That is ignorance.

And not that is not directed towards you, that is just my example

You know that saying "you cant teach an old dog new tricks"? It has actually been proven to be untrue. People can learn to be nicer to gays or blacks or whatever. If it was genetic then more than likely you wouldn't be able to change the way they feel. Homophobia is learned.
okay thanks.

I'm not sure. If someone were raised in a gay environment, I would be inclined to think they would be more accepting of homosexuality - unless they had a miserable childhood. I guess that could factor in.

Sure - just people who assume things and don't bother to actually do their research and talk to gay people. People who claim things about homosexuals which are not factual and just insulting. That is ignorance - narrow mindedness.

The OP is about homophobia, not homosexuality.

that's nice, but the thread is about a 'homophobic' gene.
