What a shame to stuff this bill up in committee. At last some real monetary incentives to go green. Most home solar systems are over $40,000+ installed and the tax breaks in this bill are essential to really get home solar off the ground. Too bad it ended up on the bottom of Charlie Rangel's Ways and Means Committees bird cage for almost a year now. It's chances of coming up for air are slim to none. If any of these dopes are your representatives and are up for election in November, be sure to let them know you want us free from foreign oil and pigeon holing this bill was unacceptable by voting against them.

Are you working for a Republican? ?

I am beginning to see a pattern in which you start ridiculous misleading threads with only one common denominator- they are anti-democrat. Republicans have consistently blocked progress on renewable energy. Why would anyone vote for a Republican if they care about this issue?

No I am retired. I am a conservative not Republican, I consider them almost as bad. I am for common sense, the common sense that tells me we must free ourselves from most if not all foreign oil. Then the rest of the world can kill themselves over it. The bill you refer to that the republicans were blocking contained little about renewable energy an a whole lot of everything else. It's my opinion the Democrats have stuffed the bill with stuff that has no place in an energy bill knowing the Republicans wouldn't go for it, then very publicly cry "obstructionism"

WHAT DOES ANY OF THAT HAVE TO DO WITH RENEWABLE ENERGY?

Please go read for yourself. The bills I have been posting that were killed in committee by the Democrat leadership were straight forward and NOT full of garbage, just renewable energy. I am simply highlighting the political games all the nitwits in Washington are playing with our futures. This is the exact reason that 35 years after the first oil crisis Congress is still playing political games and were left holding our backside waiting for them to do something....anything.

In all honesty, yes I don't like the Washington Democrats, they are phony's, say one thing and do exactly the opposite, the Republicans are almost as bad at least they don't try to fool folks by pretending to care with great fanfare.
