Family Tax Relief Act of 2007 - Amends the Internal Revenue Code to increase the maximum amount of the child tax credit from $1,000 to $1,200. Makes permanent amendments to such credit made by the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 relating to offset against the alternative minimum tax, refundability, and inflation adjustment.

Next time the Democrats claim they're going to help the middle class with tax credits, think of this bill. This bill would have helped working families cope a little better with the rising cost of gasoline. But the Politboro members of the House Ways and Means Committee obviously said Do svidaniyas to the child tax credit as it hasn't made it out of their Gulag for almost a year now.

If any of these dopes are your representatives and are up for election in November, be sure to let them know pigeon holing this bill was unacceptable by voting against them.
