Obama is really something else. first he said that he was not in support of drilling. now he says he is only because most of the country supports it. this means that he has no intention on drilling. He can't seem to make up his mind about anything. And i don't trust anybody who can talk without breathing. he has no experience, no record, no military, and no foriegn policy experience non-whatsoever. what makes us think that a black candidate is going to go into the presidency and make all these great changes when all the white presidents before him have failed. Just look at the clintons, they are not campaigning for obama because there is alot of racism in politics. hillary did'nt make it and now they don't want to see him succeed. Obama does'nt realize the amount of stress and pressure he would be under as president. but mccain on the other hand does. obama is like a cool slick talking car salesman that thinks of nothing else but getting into that white house. he will tell us anything, change his mind as many times as he wants to because he knows that once he gets in there, we really are not going to be able to get him out. I would'nt trust NObama as president if i was the only one living on earth!

I think more people are losing trust in Obama because other people are telling them to lose trust in Obama more than anything. Obama has made up his mind about drilling. He doesn't want to have any offshore drilling. He doesn't. But what he also does not want is a gridlocked congress. If he is elected and tries to pass his types of plans and they get rejected, that is equivalent to having no plan. He's stating up front, today, that he is willing to compromise a little bit to get something done. That's a reasonable thing to do, and I respect that. And why even bring up race here? Because bigotry is a poor argument against anyone.
As for experience, he has a small record, but I agree on everything else. I, however, don't care. I'd rather have someone with no experience than someone with experience in the politics that dont work or haven't worked. I'm not saying that about McCain at all, but that is a general statement for me. |

How can you give someone crap about listening to the public? Offshore drilling will do nothing, will have NO positive results for over 15 years, then it'll make a difference of 3%, an astounding number no? He's been against it from the beginning, but if the entire american public supports it, why should he fight it? He's listening to the public, not flip flopping. Chill out. |
