Subsidized nuclear? Show me the operating privately owned nuclear power plant that is subsidized. I know why in the past the government provided funding for nuclear power plants, they needed byproduct for weapons during the cold war. WHere did you think most of the weapons grade came from? Well that cost money and they paid for it to build weapons. Then there are other programs where research is conducted that is to benefit the government, so they pay for it.

None - but I have been employed by some of them eg. preparing environmental impact assessment reports for solar thermal projects. That is why I know something about them.
