I'm anxious to hear Mr. McCain's explanation for THAT major screw-up. No doubt he has a perfectly rational explanation for his sudden mind-reading talents.

I'd like to see a link to that. I heard some of this on the radio. And it sounded like McCain was clear and concise in answering the abortion question. He had no hesitation in his answer.

So I'd like to see a link to your quote.

Thank God there is another thread on this topic. The other three just weren't enough.

cnn.com? I don't see your supposed quote anywhere. Although I did find this....

Asked when life begins, McCain was quick to say "at the moment of conception." McCain's response to a question Obama dodged was met with huge applause from the audience.

"I have a 25-year pro-life record in the Congress, in the Senate; and as president of the United States, I will be a pro-life president, and this presidency will have pro-life policies," he said.
And here's a REAL LINK.... http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/08/17/forum/index.html

I don't see anywhere that McCain said

Your right. McCain supporters do not know how to cope with the fact that thier candidate Lied and Cheated. So they attack Obama.

Own up to the fact that McCain cheated. Even if Obama freaked out and ran from the room, it wouldn't change the fact that McCain LIED.

Ok, here is the quote from McCain.. Because I looked up the ACTUAL transcription, instead of a report on the event.

"...MCCAIN: A union -- a union between man and woman, between one man and one woman. That's my definition of marriage.

Could I -- are we going to get back to the importance of Supreme Court Justices or should I mention --

WARREN: We will get to that..."

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIP.../16/se.02.html

Tada!

WHAT?

This is completely incoherent. What does McCain's definition of marriage have to do with abortion?

First of all, thank you for the link.

McCain could have easily misspoke. McCain's next statement is .....
Quote:
MCCAIN: When we speak of the issue of the rights to the unborn, we need to talk about judges. But, anyway, go ahead.
And right after his answer to the abortion issue Warren says this...
Quote:
WARREN: OK, we don't have to beleaguer on that one. Define marriage.
"We don't have to beleaguer that one." Sounds like he is cutting McCain off. I think McCain was not finished with his point, he intended to go on and explain the importance in Supreme Court Justices, but Warren cut him off in the interest of time most likely.
