I know we all come here to espouse our political views, that's what this board is for. The discussions sometimes become passionate which they should....to a point. We must all remember that each and everyone of us has our views and opinions and this place is great for getting them out there, but we can't convince anyone to see them with maligning and insults. At the end of the day, Capitol Hill is full of self serving plastic rat Bas***ds one and ALL. Anything short of voting out each and every incumbent from all parties, we will likely have the same old stuff going on that has always been going on for the last 50 years no matter what campaign promises they never intended to keep. However, we do have control over how we treat each other. Try to keep it light and as friendly as possible.

With that in mind, since I haven't always been a perfect gentleman, I offer to my liberal and Democrat friends the olive branch of laughter.
