Spot on, Stripey. The neocons haven't provided any constructive criticism of the woman, so they resort to their usual tactic of finding flimsy excuses to trash her.

God forbid that anyone on the left should give Cindy McCain similar treatment!

The point I was trying to make was that why couldn't she herald the fact that she kicked a** in her career as well as pitching her family values.

It wasn't a "performance" so much as it was a diversion.
