I thought that was the Democrats line. Not only that, how can you claim that you're a Republican for change when Republicans have been in charge for 8 years? McCain's campaign manager should be fired and outsted from the business for making McCain commit political suicide. You can tell the lack of enthusiasm in the demeanor of McCain when he introduced Palin on the stage this morning.

This Palin VP pick only shows that the McCain camp are throwing poop on a wall to see what sticks. It's sad really because the substance (before the Obama speech and this horrible VP pick) was on McCain's side. But now, substance has left this election.

Video clips from a movie are not evidence. I'll take that as a concession that you can't prove your claim.

Consider this, Ostap Bender. The sexual drive is one of the strongest influences on human behavior, surpassed only by fear. Now, that doesnt mean we cant control our behavior, but it's not going to go away just because you take an abstinence pledge. So if the requirement for having sex is getting married, then the sexual urge is turned into a desire to get married as quickly as possible, without regard for little things like whether you have anything in common with your partner or not. The reason the divorce rate is so high is because divorce is more socially acceptable now than it was in the past. A few decades ago, a woman who was unhappy with her marriage would have been encouraged to take large amounts of valium. Now, she can get a divorce, which is a healthier option imo. The problem isnt the divorce rate, it's the amount of bad marriages, and I assure you that your religion doesnt have a solution for that.

It is partisan politics and the vehement rhetoric spewed in its name that is ruining America.

It's okay to be a Conservative, it's okay to be a Liberal. It's even okay to be a Communist. We need to have diversity in order to evolve.

Why is it when Nancy Pelosi or Hillary Clinton makes a statement on equal rights for women they are hard core whining feminist, but when Sarah Plain makes virtualy th same statement she's a ROLE MODEL?

SOUNDS LIKE THE OLD DOUBLE STANDARD TO ME.

Seems like a lot of conservitives talk about the PRO life issue, but if the mother and child need help after the child is born well they tend to sing a differant tune.
If the child suffers because the father's job has been outsourced well that's differant, if the school thechild goes to suffers budget cuts that means less qualified teachers and education well that's differant.

So basically they are saying I'll protect you and help you while you're in the womb, but after that you're basicaly on your own.

I am pro choice, but I understand the passion to be pro life but when a pharmisist will not prescribe a pill to keep from getting pregnant, when sex education is not taught in elementary schools to prepare kids for what is coming, when teenage pregnancy is so popular they make movies about it.
I GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT

Is soceity so naive that we tell our children "just say no" and expect that's good enough.
That "JUST SAY NO" phrase may sound a bit familiar it didn't work then it's not working today.
