You made a claim as to what the American people "really" want. I am asking you to explain why their actions are not consistent with (what you assume are) their motives.

And my answer was a very clear "Americans re-elected Bush the same way Iraqis re-elected Saddam in 2001". Then, one democracy invades another. I have a problem with that, don't you?

That is not clear, that is cryptic...you seem to believe that the implication should be "obvious". It is not. Why not just say what you mean?

No, for many reasons. The most obvious is that Saddam's Iraq was obviously not a democracy. Even the vast majority of liberals accept that. If you believe it was a democracy, you are part of a tiny minority.

All Saddam would need to do in USA is to control the FoxNews/MSNBC (right nut left wing media) and he would win any election hands down: one network would claim he is great because he cares about the people, another network would claim he is bad because does not help terrorists, and wala!
