Remember when Obama visited Israel and the wailing wall? He donned a skull cap and said a prayer, stuffing a note into the wall as is the custom of devout orthodox jews.

The contents of the note Obama left at the Western Wall in Jerusalem was widely published by the MSM. The handwriting, beneath the letterhead of the King David Hotel, appeared to be Obama's. I haven't seen any denial of Obama writing it. Visitors traditionally stick notes of prayer into the wall.

Are you serious, comparing Obama's prayer to God to make him an "instrument of your will," with Palin's describing a pipeline as "God's will?"

Please, tell me you said that with tongue in cheek.

In the old days, kings legitimized their authority by saying they ruled by "divine right." Well, we don't have a king (just a wannabe king in the White House), but Palin sure is invoking God's will to legitimize anything she supports (pipeline, war in Iraq). Scary.
