No, that's not what I said or implied. I pointed out that there's simply no comparison between praying to God to make oneself an instrument of His will, which in itself is a petition to God, not a declaration that something is God's will.

Declaring that something is God's will, whether it be a pipeline, a war, or even an election, is arrogant beyond belief, unlike the petition to God mentioned. It has nothing to do with party or ideology.

No, I'm against Palin because she's a rightwingnutter. And Pelosi was out of line for invoking God. She certainly has been a BIG disappointment as Speaker. There, satisfied?

every child is a "gift" from God. considering all the screwups out there trying to run a government, I'd say GOD LOVES GAG GIFTS.

He 'begged' God to bless the US involvement in war.

Noble undertaking refers to WWII.

But how could war be noble?

I certainly appreciate you finally revealing your agenda... at last. Your candor is very illuminating. So are you now saying that invoking the will of God was just a pretense to criticize someone you already hated? In other words, you don't care about her religious beliefs, you simply hate "rightwingnutters"... right?

US didn't get involved in WWII until Pearl Harbor. What Hitler was doing in Europe was not a mystery. Mom had a German pen pal when she was a high school senior in 1933. I had to send them to my sister for translation since they were half german half english, but the German community in Cincinnati were NOT a very popular group at that time. Wow, you think there's discrimination now? We don't appreciate what we've got, and putting this "pitbull with lipstick" in charge.....I am right now speachless. well, what i'm thinking i could get another "infraction"..
