Default Palin: Gas pipeline is "God's will"

Just because this tidbit deserves its own headline.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080903/...palin_iraq_war

Quote:
In an address last June, the Republican vice presidential candidate also urged ministry students to pray for a plan to build a $30 billion natural gas pipeline in the state, calling it "God's will."
Here's the video:

Who here agrees that God really, really, really wants this pipeline built?

Not only that pipeline built, but he really wants America to stay in Iraq and for Bush to be elected.

Unless she's dumb enough to think that praying is actually going to get anything done in the White House I really don't see nothing wrong with what she said. This is a bit trivial.

God and I were chatting just this morning about this very thing. He told me he's getting tired of all the noise up there in Alaska. Palin always praying for this-and-that at all hours of the day and night. Asking for pipelines and her daughter's boyfriend's dick to fall off. Praying for a contractor to build her a deck and pleading for a certain State Trooper to be smited by God's hand.

God said when He prayed (God prays, who knew!) He asked that Alaska be cursed with a plague of decaffeinated coffee so that Palin "would just stfu".

Don't know about the pipeline, but I personally really, really, really didn't want my 17 yr-old daughter to get prego, so I put her on the pill.

As a former President once said: "trust but verify".

So you basically told her to go out and screw and not to worry about it.

What is God going to get out of this gas pipeline? What is God going to demand of Palin next?

on a more phylosopical note. If you do believe in god (let's not debate that) how would one know that this is god's will and not the will lucifer?
