Why do so many hate the USA? Are they all crazy? Are they just jealous or perhaps just sadists? Are they all just bored, and decide to burn the American flag out of boredom?


Or, could it be that they have good reason for hating the USA?

You see, a part of the world has seen a very ugly side of the face of the USA.

Can we blame an Iraqi who lost his child due the the embargo for hating the US?

Can we really blame the North Koreans for hating the US after the crimes US troops committed over there?

Can we blame Iranians for hating the US when the US sold chemical weapons to Saddam so he could dump it on them?

Can we blame the good people of Chili for hating the US, when the US supported Pinochet's terror?

Basically, a lot of people have good reasons for hating the US. The US would do wise to change its attitude toward the world. What goes around comes around. September 11th was an example of that.

Israel is as much a terrorist nation as Palestine is. The only difference is instead of having to result to suicide bombings, they get US issued gunships to kill innocent people. Oh, and lets not forget the tanks.

The point being who the hell knows why this person or that person hates America. In your post you are describing why you might hate America, but don't pass it off as if you are speaking for everyone. Some people have good reasons, some people are blowing steam.

Nope. It's pretty weak to say that EVERYONE that hates the US, (and that number is growing by the day) is either a crazy fanatic or a moron or just plain stupid.

That is not the case, although I can understand why you might use that explanation. Communists also did that. In fact Uncle Stalin made a nice cozy camp for people like that in the hills of Siberia. Didn't know that Americas had the same sentiments.

People that suffered a lot under the US have the right to hate the US. People in Iran have the right to hate the US for all the crimes the US did to them indirectly, people in Chili have the right to hate the US because of the support for Pinochet, people in Iraq have the right to hate the US because of the deadly embargo that killed one million kids, people in Vietnam have the right to hate the US because of the crimes the US did over there.........................and let's not forget the good old North Koreans and the people of Hiroshima.

My god the list is long. Actually I wonder why some people DON'T hate the US.

Yes exactly, you know what I'm talking about. Basically the only difference between what Palestinians call terror versus what the Israelis call terror is that the FORM in which this "terror" is realized is different. The Palestinians are primitive so they use primitive ways such as blowing themselves up. Israelis on the other hand have the most modern weapons at their disposal.


But in the end, it doesn't matter whether 20 people died by a Palestinian suicide blast or an Israeli Apache helicopter. Same thing.

CNN and other media only call what the Palestinians do terror, but they're just a bull(*)(*)(*)(*) network anyway, full of lies.

You misunderstood. I was saying yes to basically all of the above, which was that some people hate the US for jealousy etc, but others have a good reason. You posed an impossible question because, in answering it, one would have to suppose that they know everyone else's reason. You cannot know everyone's reason for hating America. You can't even know in general simply because everybody has a reason they explain, and then one they don't. All you are doing right now is presenting to us why you hate America and then assuming that most of the world agrees with you.

Nope. The Iraqis never harmed the USA. They didn't even had WMD. This is just a "small" detail you left out of the equation.

But the Americans did harm A LOT of other people.

I think you misread that statement. It wasn't said that everyone whom hated the US were wackos. In fact, it was specifically stated that some probably do have a good reason and some are probably just "blowing steam". No where did that say that everyone whom hated the US did so without valid reason. I personally think you were fishing for someone to say that so you could go on that little rant.

People hate the US, so what? I hate France. Some people have good reason for hating the US, some are misinformed, some just hate the US for no apparent reason.

However. You are wrong to compare the pure hate that some people feel toward the US with the fact that you might hate France. What has France done to you in the last fifty years? Sum them up, and we'll compare it with the "jolly" deeds the US did.
