war-hero campaign
It just amazes me that being a war-hero actually fares well with the public. In europe, Mccain would absolutely not be able to use that playing card.
Being a warhero is respected, but does not say anything about your political career. Infact, it might just work against you. Why support someone who was a prisoner in a war that was lost, it makes no real sense.
