Dreadful indeed. The collectivist impulse is all over America.

That isn't what a Democracy does. A Democracy still tells people what to do, the only difference is that the person telling people what to do had to jump through some hoops first.

Yea, I don't particularly care for the slogan myself.

I'd put individualism first and foremost. Build an environment where individualists can prosper and be free and you build a stronger country IMO.

Default if you heard his speech

If you heard his speech at the RNC you would know what Country First means.

It means McCain will put the our countries interest before his, that he believes that the washington politicains care about themselves before they care about you. Whether he means it or not I don't know, but thats what he said.

Fair enough. With regards to strictly politicians doing it, I'm fine with it.

But, of course, that is rubbish. Palin/ McCain didn't fight for federal funds for their districts? Keating 5, McCain has never put wealthy donors and personal ambition ahead of principle? And as Pres. he could somehow stop Reps from seeking to maximize federal funding for their districts? Ri-i-ight.

He has been a Washington politician for a long time. He knows because that’s what he has done. He wraps himself in the flag and screams I was a POW and gets away with a lot of BS that nobody else would. He is a liar just like the rest of the government. We really need to toss them all out and start again. It’s time for an American voter revolution. We need serious change throughout the Congress and the Senate and the White House.

Dreadful indeed. The collectivist impulse is all over America.

Which is why Country has always been listed third by people in the know, but the Republican Party chose to ignore that.
