Default Biggest deflection in history?

I see the focus that is being put on Sarah Palin as the largest deflection in history.
1. It has made a non-issue VP the most important one.
2. It has taken eyes off of McCain the same as Bush.
3. It has taken the eyes and minds away from real issues.
4. She has become the "rock star".
5. Keeping Palin from the media keeps her a mystery.
6. Makes feminism, abortion and religion issues that mean nothing.
7. Keeps the press from looking at the McCain v Obama race.
8. Has the country thinking the race is between Obama and Palin.
9. She has deflected the attention from McCain's positions.
10. It has kept the media eye off of Obama's positions.

Right now Palin who should be a non-issue has us posting at huge rates to discuss her. The attention should be on the real issues.

1. War
2. Economy
3. Working poor
4. Taxes
5. Health care
6. Housing crisis
7. Immigration
8. Failed Bush policy
9. Job loss
10. Outsourced job

Do we all think this woman is an issue? Let's refocus and keep the eye on what is important. The actual candidates Obama and McCain.

Do you see how the R's have taken our eye off the race for the White House?

I find this request ironic considering the high number of posts slandering the pick, criticizing her, criticizing her family, criticizing her choices etc. And now that she has personally turned the election tide all of a sudden she isn't an issue. Why was she not an issue from the beginning? The dems should have said "congrats on the pick, but so what." Instead they moved into attack dog mode and are now sincerely regretting it. Too late.

The nice thing about the Palin pick is the dems had no idea it was coming. So instead of the Hollywood planned attack they resorted to what they had...Sexist bashing of women, small towns and country folk. In doing so they showed how ill-equipped and ignorant they really are.

Default There sure is a pattern here.

My isn't strange that all of McCain's lame accusations towards Obama, the rock star thing,
the unqualified thing ect, McBush has shown all of us that his only intentions and ambition was to do these things himself, by picking a unqualified, unknown female VP choice. So she could become a Republican princess rockstar and be a distraction from the real issues, which McBush Can't and refuses to discuss.

Watch for this pattern in the future. McCain hurls accusations and then does them himself.

Nice, we pick, as you say an unqualified #2. You pick an unqualified #1. Who is the idiot?

Yes indeed Obama went through a qualified vetting process and gained the trust of millions of Americans. As far as we tell the only thing McBush did was take his princess to the vet's for a rabies shot. She's Cheney in pantyhose.

Cheney? Your guy is unqualified so you take a shot at Cheney? Cheney has had more heart surgery than Obama has years of experience. Cheney has shot more lawyers than Obama has legislative success. Cheney...whats the point in going on this is to easy.

What is also interesting is the experience question is now moot and McCain, a Washington insider forever, is the change agent. In what is one of the most bizarre transitions republicans are now running against republicans, they will bring change when Johnnie has pretty much since 2000 joined the sect. Do you think maybe it isn't the real John McCain. LOL Has anyone heard them brag about any of their republicans accomplishments these past 8 years and in the house and senate even longer? No, ever wonder why.
