No need to, it's a rhetorical device, not a claim of fact.

What do you know about Obama. Most of my right-wing friends that talk smack about Obama have not read any of his book, nor have they listened to any speech....yeah, they watched 10second you-tube clips, but that's another story.

And you left out the 5th element....Thinking
I have read both of his books. I have read Michelles thesis. I have looked at his voting record. And Please don't get me started on the books and the thesis again you don't want to here what I have to say about them. His friends I researched. And Obama is not the man I want for a preisent.
You can start a Obamas book thread and I will tell you how much I do know about that pile of trash. I was a democrat up until the Carter years I grew up and now am a republican. I do not watch anything on Utube those clips can be edited easy you need to start with what he did for his state that would enlighten the most harden democrat. I watched Obama throw his mother, Rev. grandmother Ayers and many others under his bus but they are not forgotten if he becomes president his friend all come out and they start all over again. I don't trust Obama he is a liar , He will never admit he is wrong
There is just so much Obama has done to prove he is not ready to lead the US I am not even sure I would trust hin to run a hotdog stand.

RIGHT ON-RIGHT ON PRIDE-To copy a quote from another post "The LIPSTICK will wear off the PIG before november.Did you happen to catch mccain out on a stump yesterday after his LIPSTICK went back to Alaska, there were so many more OBAMA supporters there, then gop supporters that he couldn't even give his speech. So much for mccains "Maverick" persona,he is riding on a unqualified womans skirt-tail.

Interesting note, and I'm going to follow it...

My step dad is the exact same way. Grew up a poor east coast city boy, was liberal minded and went to vietnam. Came back, and was a hippie, riding around the country on a motorcycle and settled in CA to raise a family....then the Carter years.

He became a hard nosed "republican" and has met Reagan and Bush Sr, and loved Bush Jr....

The funny thing is, when I talk to him about specific non-media hyped issues, we agree 100%. And infact, I dare say he's a bigger bleeding heart than I am.

But Carter turned him off to the whole liberal/democrat thing. He's a liberal, but he calls himself a republican, out of distain for Carter.....

Kinda like how the (*)(*)(*)(*)ing idiots that voted for Bush (TWICE) are now all of a sudden "independent".

Sounds like me doing nothing wearing beads blaming the government for all that was wrong with the world. Protesting wow I can't believe that was me.
To bad some never grow up.
