I love how, in your world, the left is one mind, that is perfectly represented (and as a whole, no less) by one person posting on the internet.

But since you brought it up, here are the 136 bills he sponsored as a US Senator:

Not to metion 619 bills he cosponsored - in only 4 years
Ken Salazar sponsored 118 bills, Harry Reid sponsored 255, Biden 150, Hillary 212, Robert Menendez 175, Feinstein 213...I can go on. There are plenty of dems who sponsored as much or more as Obama. Plenty. So he wasn't elected because of his legislative accomplishments. He was also mentioned by the dems as Prez material before he had served even a day in the US senate. So that list had nothing to do with his qualifications and everything to do with being a minority and being able to read a teleprompter nicely.

Since 1993, McSame has only sponsored 473 bills and cosponsored 809.
Which means that McCain sponsored 31.5 bills a year and Obama sponsored 34. A whopping 2.5 bills more per year.

Now do you understand why people were impressed with Obama early on? He's a mover....a reformer...he's actually getting (*)(*)(*)(*) done....which our government sorely needs right now.
If anything I'm more confused. We easily have a dozen dems who have sponsored more bills than Obama and he averaged 2.5 more than McCain annually. And that is "getting it done?" His numbers in no way stand out versus his peers.
