Hello everyone.
Usually I don't bother posting and proving my political points to anyone but today I was outraged when I opened yahoo page and saw a latest . Palin said that she leaves open option of war with Russia.

That just pissed me right off!

To start of let me tell you that I hold a dual citizenship as you guessed Russian by birth and American by naturalization.

I am fedup with these political games and media coverage. McCain is over-aggressive,half-crazy,Obama is muslim and lies about it.Clinton....joke.
WHY in the hell we have to choose least of the worst??


I am a republican but these comments about war that McCain makes all the time just make me change my mind about voting as republican. First of all Western dominance is there nomore.Also I don't think we or economy need another 4 years of war . Second-American government needs to be the last one to critisize Russia or anyone for that matter for invading another (*)(*)(*)(*)ry(IRAQ comes to mind) . Third-Russia has a strong economic relationships with most of the Europe.Russian natural gas and oil export is at highest levels so only foolish European countries will try to go against Russians which leaves America to be the only one to fight(IRAQ comes to mind again).

What about media coverage? Why CNN and FOX keep on telling everyone that Russia invaded Georgia? I saw several videos where Georgia tanks rumble through the city and shooting heavy machine guns and artilery at the civilian buildings. I read tons of reports from the war zone which proves Georgia at fault.Why is the media shaping the truth??I am so sick of it.

I guess government(media) need something to talk about so they won't have to talk about falling economy...housing,gas prices,stock market...

South Park put it best why they pointed out that you usually will have the choice between a Giant (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) and a Turd Sandwich.....doesn't get much better than that.

As for invading another country, I think we better move out of where we are at first. And I wouldn't mind some recovery time. And not to sound "too good" for the people of Georgia, but why America? Why can't someone else bail them out?

Off topic, kinda: I read failblog.org and someone found a post on like yahoo answers or something of some guy saying (in horrible English)...I live in Georgia and I hear on the news that Russia is attacking us but I haven't seen tanks or heard anything, should I be worried?......reply: Not the State of Georgia....the country is on the other side of the globe, moron.

I think Palin's remarks concerning Russia were taken a bit out of context. Yes...we should never rule out war with anyone...to a point.

The last time we "ruled out war," we got our asses handed to us at Pearl Harbor. Palin's remarks were in no way meant to be taken as "we want war with Russia." It was more of a "don't expect to push us around" sort of context.

Options rely on circumstances and war would require the worst of course. Wody, what do you think about Russia's recent actions, both the situation in Georgia and the oppressive actions towards Russian journalists ect.?
