You are absolutely right. Had Ron Paul gotten as much media exposure as Obama and McCain, right now we would be in a three way contest.

Had Kucinich gotten media coverage, he might have been the Democratic nominee.

The amount of power the media has over our selection of a president is a disgrace and an afront to every American. No where in the constitution does it say the media gets to decide who the "viable" candidates are.

Our process for chosing candidates is wrong in so many ways. The chance of we the people choosing the president is lost well before the election.

The method I've heard of for multi-candidates is to pick your first and second choice. I the first choices don't yield a winner, you add in the seconds etc. If no one gets a majority, you have a run off.
