Default Can Religion-bashing be iradicated?

Since we've got threads on three major religions already, I guess this is a fair question.

With my thread, I was merely addressing the fact that islam is not compatible with modern, liberal democracy.

Unfortunately, a reactionary, immature poster here decided to try to mindlessly respond, in his mind "in kind" by attacking illigitimately the other 2 major religions. These other 2 threads should have been deleted...

In short: No, it will never end. Just as politics, ethics, law, and any other subject that has multiple points of view will never end.

How is a Christian bashing Islam any different that a Liberal bashing Conservatism, or vise versa?

Only if you eliminate religion. i would vote for that. I won't ever get my way so no it can't be eliminated.

This is why I lean Atheist.

Religion has been the root cause of so much pain and suffering, and it's ever since the first man saw lightening that it's been ongoing.

I respect anyone's right to believe in a religion if they feel they need it to support themselves. Despite all the hurts caused by religions, there have also been many good things as well.

The sad thing is, there are extremes in all of them that give those who do good works a bad name.

Religion bashing will never be eliminated as long as the religious continue their attempts to force their faith on others.
