Default B][/B]global crisis of our time

Im simply curious with what ppl think is the global crisis of our time?

We hear so much about what is happening, but never any solutions?

for ex. war on terrorism? what is the solution? a proposal? simply stating going in and converting everyone to christianity is not a feasible answer (for those nut jobs out there)

It's a toss up between the environment and the global economy. We are in for a nasty time where both are concerned.

My guess is energy. It has been the prime problem for the lower and middle class income. It will probably cause a massive increase in spending for research, while we expand into a large variety of energy sources such as nuclear, wind, and solar.

My second issue would be effective government. We are reaching a time when massive increases in government spending are not solving any problems, but putting them on the back burner while causing new ones. Social Security and MediCare come to mind. Education is another issue that despite how much money is dumped into it, not much is happening. The only solution I see here is a cut back in government spending, a reevaluation of various branches of the federal government. On top of this would be trying to strengthen the nuclear family that used to be extremely common, but is now fading against the rise of single parents. It cuts living expenses among a larger portion of individuals, along with providing more time and money for a child to grow and becoming a productive and educated member of society
