Default new reason to go to war from Charles Duelfer

he might have wanted to pursue them?

we might as well start carpet bombing the world because 100's of countries might have wanted to pursue them.

Face it - it was a bad reason to go to war - oil and pappa Bush now becaosme the OBLY reason we went.

But, we are there and now we have to get into the "quagmire" (cheney's term used describe a war against Iraq - he was against getting Saddam before he was for it) and finish the job.

Default Yes, we should have waited until...

Hussein had nukes in hand to use on our forces, and had detonated one in downtown manhattan.

Good plan.

Default I'm not a fan of this idea.

If we'd not had nuclear weapons during the 1970s, it's more than likely that the USSR would have overrun Europe.

Even now, our nukes serve as a deterrent against Chinese aggression. They may not deter fanatics who believe that a suicide mission will get them paradise and 72 virgins, but they do indeed deter the leadership of other nations who risk everything by engaging in an act of aggression against us. Nor do I believe that Russia or China or the European countries should disarm.

I believe that nuclear arms have deterred many more conflicts than they've caused.

"I believe that nuclear arms have deterred many more conflicts than they've caused. "

then maybe we should give Saddam Nukes to make the world a safer place.

After we get rid of Canada's Nukes we can go after Grenada.....

Default So

Why can't the little people keep the WMD? Surely there more in danger of being overrun than anyone?
