I always wondered what the hell is going through the heads of Americans? And by that I mean the white, redneck, southern American.

Here we got a nations which is built on the blood of Indians, not to mention the fact that you stole their land from them in the first place and now every new immigrant is treated like some trespasser.

It's not the first time I heard Americans shout:" Them Asian and black fellas come here and steal our jobs, and me and Mary Sue don't like that, they ougtta stay in them own United Statesessss."

What gives you the right to stay where you are, and what gives you the right to exclude others from doing the same thing your ancestors did?........... Well actually they're much more kind than your ancestors since they don't kill you all and then put a few of you in reservations like wild animals.

I happen to be a Southern and White (to most people that qualifies me as a redneck) so I take great offense to your post.

Some points for you to consider:
1. Were native American limited to the southern US? If not why are you making this claim against the south?

2. I don't care where you live or what your homeland is, your ancestors stole, invaded, or seized it from some one else. Exception: Australian aborigines or American Eskimo. Do you fall into one of these groups?

3. The US has some of the most liberal immigration laws around. That is among nations that people actually want to immigrate to. However, we restrict access to the US to people that can contribute to society and not burden it. We have enough people living off the state as it is.

4. Not to belittle the accomplishments or civilizations of Native Americans, but the United States was built on the blood and sweat of the immigrants. It was built with the aid of Democracy and Capitalism. These systems rewarded industrious, imaginative, and hard working citizens, therefore providing incentive to expansion, productivity, and education.

5. What gives us the right. Sad but true Mite gives us the right to do what is best for our country and its citizens.

If you were just posting trash to elicit a response you were successful. If that was your true feelings on the matter, I suggest you stop stereo typing people and look at your own history. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

A lot of rednecks married Indian women. A lot of redneckettes married Indian men. A lot of Indians shot settlers. A lot of Englishmen wanted to oppress them. A lot of Spanish killed people who just wanted to live in Texas. A lot of Spanish doing so lost. A lot of dinosaurs used to roam the earth and croaked. A lot of French and Indians fought against the British here.

We won, get over it. It's ours. Go back far enough anywhere and there has been a change of borders and sovereignty. Pick a country, just try that doesn't have that kind of history.

last I checked, the only immigrants we ever treat like trespassers are ACTUALLY TRESPASSING...and there are even exceptions to that, when we school them and provide medical care for them, and when we periodically give them amnesty like under the IRCA act...

We can go through the list of lands taken by Europeans that didn't belong to them. But why bother, you know they're there as much as we do. The list of lands taken in the world is long. Or maybe they didn't teach you that at whatever online high school you got your degree from.
