This scale is named after the only person in Human history ever to become perfectly liberal: Margaret Cho (who is, coincidentally, also my favorite comedian). She supports every liberal cause that has ever existed in the history of the Human race and is completely unapologetic about it.

Methodology - The scale is based on the detectable levels of liberal radiation surrounding these individuals. This radiation can be further divided into frequencies, although the specific frequency is not really relevant, only the intensity. Margaret Cho emits liberal radiation from the San Francisco frequency (often confused with the gay frequency, which is right next to it on the political energy spectrum). The frequency only matters when many liberals emitting the same frequency gather near each other...the frequencies can sometimes resonate, increasing their intensity temporarily. Frequency resonation like this however can never attain 10 on this scale, no matter how many liberals congregate in one place.

Conservatives do not emit liberal radiation but instead absorb it. The physical manifestation can be seen with the naked eye in the form of liberal rants against conservative individuals...negative scores on the Cho scale indicate the amount of liberal hatred that person absorbs in a given time.

This is an Asymptote scale....meaning that it is impossible to be more liberal than 10, and impossible to be more conservative than -10. 10 is considered infinitely liberal, and the only person in the universe who qualifies as infinitely liberal right now is Margaret Cho.

This scale is relative only to modern America. I will be using this scale as my primary reference when discussing political positions in the future.

The world hangs in the balance right now, as scientists theorize that if more than one liberal were ever to attain 10 on the Cho scale at the same time, it would cause a chain reaction in the Earth's atmosphere opening a dimensional vortex which would consume the Earth and (eventually) the rest of our universe. We must avoid this catastrophe by assassinating Keith Olbermann at once. We simply cannot take the risk. Keith Olbermann must die so that the human race can live.
