I read an article about how WWIII is a Necessity in order to solve all of our oil shortage problems and overall most of the problems we have created ourselves. It's a fight against ourselves to save ourselves. It's not for power nor for land, it's for survival. As crazy as it sounds, I think it just might work.

If we killed 7/10 of the people of the world, yeah, most of our problems would go away. You first.

So what do you suggest we do instead? Honestly, even looking from the enviromental Treehuggers view, people are the cause of slaughtering masses of all other species. I watched this film Sharkwater recently and it talked about how the shark population has declined 90% in the past few years just because their fins made good soup. They cut off fins, and throw the sharks back in the water, still alive to suffer to death. What people are doing to our planet WWIII seems to be the move in the right direction.

PS. The way it's going, I don't see "giving peace a try" mentality to be working, so the only other way is to act radically rather than passively, no?

Remember though - if the 3/10 remaining would be the African population - hunger would still be apparent, and they would fight themselves to death over the few resources which survived, or were left over.
