I said no, because given the time (post 9/11) and the behavior of the dictator in question (Saddam) We were just in our actions. The fact that we didn't find WMD doesn't change the fact that Hussein lied to us. It doesn't change the fact that he ignored countless resolutions; refused inspectors access to a number of questionable areas. It doesn't change the fact that he butchered hundreds of thousands of his own people. It doesn't change the fact that he stood in our way of progress in the Middle East. It doesn't leviate us of our obligations to freedom and justice.
I gave up on WMD about a year ago, and even if we were to find a cache of VX or Anthrax. All I have to ask is... He was already punishable by death, why do we need two capital sentences on one man? |

Certainly after this length of time. We would have had time to build a nasa over there by now.

Semi-substantiated theories would be a better way to put it beings how all evidence corroborating that Bush outright lied is merely circumstantial. I try not to talk with such certainty in areas that are still up for questioning. Just seems... slanderous.
