Default Both parties stink....

Of greed and self servatude.

Hello everyone I am new here and I'm a thinkaholic.

And just maybe I am over thinking our current situation so feel free to step in and correct me were I am wrong (don't bother pointing out my typos, it doesn't help)

To me what I see going on in our country is a meltdown of both our economy and our ability to unite as citizens and correct what is wrong with this country. We have to overbearing, greedy, wasteful parties that have collectively put us in the toilet and lost what little respect we had as a nation in the eyes of the rest of the world. (personally I could care less what other countries think)

These two parties come around every 4 years with the same old dog and pony show telling us how qualified they are to get things fixed and yet we always get the same old grid locked, do nothing BS that we have gotten in the past.

Why is it that as a nation we cannot collectively agree that it is in fact these two parties who have ruined our economy, left our borders wide open and hung us all out to dry with the bill? It is in fact all truth is it not?

To me there is no good reason to cast a vote for a republican or a democrat, in fact I think it equates to shooting yourself, your kids and grandkids right between the eyes, because you are leaving this mess for them to deal with later.

I was always a republican in the past but I think I have taken to many slaps in the face to cast a vote for McCain, I don't see him changing much at all.

Obama wants to socialize everything and keep the burden on the tax payer for these socialized programs.

All in all I hear the same old BS, it is like an echo from the past and the past has taught me there are more lies than truth with these two parties, both are corrupt, wastful and self serving.

I would honestly feel like I was voting for Benedict Arnold to cast a vote for either of these parties, it has simply gone too far.

For me the jig is up, and I am done listening to criminals and liers.

Unfortunately, the majority of your compatriates are absolutely thrilled to vote for the same inadequate bureaucracies and self serving pigs they've been voting in for decades.

Indyhunter,
Join the club.

You said it; you're a thinkaholic. Most people don't put much thought into who they elect. If you're tired of picking the lesser of two evils, join a party and promote good candidates in the primaries.

The current party system divides the people between two government agencies. The people should be united against bad government, period. The people should find points of agreement, such as - un-Constitutional = bad. The government will not police itself. Corporations definitely will not police government. The job is left squarely in the hands of common people.

Not so much thrilled as unaware of other practical options.

Just speaking for myself, here.
