Default Can The Republicans Possibly Do More Damage

Can the Republicans possibly do more damage to the economy? Deregulation was one of the worst things to happen to this country and now we are seeing the results. How long will it take to pay off this debt Mr. Bush? Perhaps someone should have been watching these financial companies...do you think?

What? They could. Are you saying I don't deserve to vote?

First of all, it wasn't the Republicans that caused this problem. It was both Republicans and Democrats, but that's up to you to actually become informed instead of living each day with ignorance. The latter is obviously easier.

Secondly, don't ever underestimate the amount of damage that a member of government can do.

Yeah, Its those Democrats fault, we know they are the deregulation party! If they had not prevented the Republicans from imposing necessary regulations and oversight, we wouldn't be in the mess we were in today. How can they deny it, they are the party that has been in charge for most of the last decade . . . . . . . . . . . . . oh wait . . . . . . . . . I think I got that backwards.

I completely agree, for the last 24 hours or so i have pointed out that this is a failure on both sides of the isle both Democrats and Republicans but the message seems to be not getting accross

I think this member was pointing out the fact that most righties on here make out to be the Democrats fault while historically their party has been the party of deregulation.

That would be hard to do with all the damage evident from the last 8 years of Republican rule.

In my experience, you should never misunderestimate George Herbert Hoover Bush.
