Default Bush, Pelosi and Reid do we believe them?

I just have a bad feeling about fear politics.

This is more of the same. How can we fall into this trap again?

Where is the money going?
Who gets the pay outs?
What is the downside to the taxpayer?
What is the upside to the taxpayer?

If you applied for a loan with a 2 1/2 page report would you get it?

Why will we give them 700 billion in a black check?

It just feels all wrong.

Since I had to choose one - we need more info. No applies to me as well. I need more info because I don't trust the government to tell me the truth.

I voted yes because I believe I have the information I need. As I have said in another thread I started on the subject, I believe this plan is adequate to do the job unrestricted free markets can,t to clean up the mess that has been made. Before the great depression we did nothing and look what happened there. This time we act.

For me it is a case of them having cried wolf to much. Now they expect us to do it again with little or no information. A package like this should be put to the voters. If it fails so be it. We need to have our say when our futures are as stake.

NO.
It sets a terrible precedent that WILL be used later....
Car Manufactures
Airlines
Credit cards
Dept Stores
Manufacturing
chain stores.... etc...

If you make bad business decisions then you should go out of business. Period! I could not get away with it in my business.... They shouldn't get away with it in their business!

I also don't like the Hype that has been generated around it... It is Y2K like hysteria and the FedGov wants to make a $1Trillion knee jerk reaction to "HELP"!!!

That's crazy!

I didn't vote, but prefer the Republican plan being espoused. The Paulson plan is a giveaway and the taxpayers get stuck with the bill, no matter what promises that the Government will make to the contrary. No blank check please.
