So what's the point of Rumsfeld back in 1983? We just had gotten our people back that had been held hostage in Iran a couple years earlier and the Iran-Iraq war was going on.

What good is this? Destroying any hope of democracy in the middle east, when they took out Iran's democraticly elected governemnt, and replaced them with a dictator, who's predecessor is apparently a "grave threat"? Support of Israel in their murders in Palestine? Support of Augusto Pinochet? Setting up Saddam Husseins government and selling him weapons to kill Jurds and Iranians? Blowing up asprin factories in Africa? Destroying stability in Iraq?
