As to the OP...all I can say is thank God.

And it's something some of us have been saying for a while now.
It's still gonna take some time, but as each generation gets familiar with the idea that most of us gay folk are just a whole lot like every one else....they look around and go, "hmm. what's all the fuss about?"

Nice one Lackers, you know mate I have a number of gay friends, but one couple who have been together for over 12 yrs are very special to us, Pete is a very tough Scot, John is when the mood takes him very flamboyant, when we stay with each other on holidays ect I will walk around in my boxers and they do the same, when we go out Pete will link arms with my wife, and I will do the same with John.

These guys are half my age, do I care if they find me attractive? yes! I take it as a compliment.

IF the people were in favor of gay marriage, why in so many state elections it is being voted down? 40 States thus far. As much as in being hyped, most people are not on board with the gay agenda. Most feel what you do in private is none of their business, including homosexual lifestyles. Civil rights are denied to no one based on sexual preference, you are still free to make your own choices.

You need to back this claim up with something credible to illustrate its true....otherwise it must be treated like the unsubstantiated silly claim that it is.

To try and compare homosexuality to criminal tendencies is not a valid comparison though. Your question would be like asking a parent of a hetero-sexual if they want their kid to be happy even though they are attracted to NON CONSENTING people of the opposite sex.



Actually I have seen and even used co-ed showers. Many colleges have co-ed dorms and showers and the gym I go to has co-ed showers and changing areas.

The problem is that even if we take your word for it... this means nothing. So we know it's not AIDS... What other variables are there?
Was the study's sole purpose to see if AIDS was involved or did it include other variables that we can look at to figure out what exactly causes the lower life expectancy?

I'm a coach in high school. I have taught at schools with openly lesbian coaches (crazy huh?). Anyway, I have always had a HUGE problem with this. Why do they allow an openly lesbian coach to coach girls sports? Wouldn't that be the same as a male walking into the girls locker room? I don't have a problem with lesbians or gays, but to put them in a situation where there are people openly undressing around them, I find that a problem.
