It has no bearing at all on whether or not he is a citizen. None. Foreigners dont get a say when it comes to determining US citizenship. Their opinions matter not at all. Not even a little.

Obama's apparent support for Odinga was more against the incumbent Kibaki, who is widely viewed as a wannabee corrupt Afrian despot. Obama made an error of judgement which I hope he learned from, as Odinga showed some pretty horrible true colors after losing the election (which was actually rigged against him).

The lesson? Don't ever, ever, ever get involved in African politics.
