"Sharia"? Isn't that the legal system where they cut the hands off of thieves? Isn't it the legal system where they behead traitors and criminals against society? If so, maybe I would be willing to wear a towel-hat if we could start by chopping the heads off the morons who dragged our economy into the ditch this year, while laughing all the way home with fat compensation packages and bonuses. Shaira law does not work like that. Shaira law works to find guilt and swift justice for that guilt. Under Shaira law, lots of innocent people are punished.

This concept effectively controls the people under Shaira law- they want to avoid being the ones found guilty and punished horribly so they behave... this is why Shaira justice is usually carried out in public.

Here we fight crime, there that punish the guilty.
