I think there is a flaw in the argument of failed leadership. In my opinion leadership doesnt and shouldnt end with the demise of the leader.
In this massive Universe, with its variety of creatures, if a God existed, why would it be humanoid? Why not have a lizard God? Why not some kind of alien slug God? I'll tell you why, it's because the humanoid God does not exist; it was concocted by egocentric humans.

you dont have to change for people only accept that people are different.
That is the thing, I do accept that people are different. What angers me, what fuels my hatred of religion is the intolerance of religious people in general.

Sure, some will be more open than others, but in general: Christians, Muslims and Jews have pretty much lost the meaning of their teachers. And yet you are seeking to have me be more tolerant and understanding when I am constantly confronted by the pigheadedness of Christian bastards who demand that everyone bow to their beliefs and ideals but will not budge an inch of understanding towards anyone else.

So, I will continue my campaign until either I am killed for my beliefs or acceptance and diversity are embraced by religious kooks. I call it fighting fire with fire.

If Jesus failed as a leader, then why 2,000 years later does he still inspire?

Pretty dumb thread to me.

Paul was kicked out of the Apostle's movement and went on his own forming a cult. When the Romans converted the Catholic Church was born and Christianity went from cult to State Religion. Leaders went from paupers to kings.

That is two reasons for the following that Christianity got; it was a mandatory involvement for most of the world for thousands of years and there is a cult mentality that flows through it.
I already stated this, but since you missed it...

Ok i dont get it who are you fighting for again. what belief i mean Because if they talk and boast and you still stand its more of an irritation would you not say. They really have no power other than getting you mad and making you look foolish. You obviously wont budge an inch on fighting them why should they budge on their beliefs. So to put it plainly their intolerance begets your intolerance and the cycle of war continues. So I ask you an intellegent person why do you put yourself in harms way when harm doesnt even chose you. Im not saying accept them in your heart im saying accept your heart for what it is good and to fight them changes who you are.

What heart other than your own compels you to want to fight if you can tell yourself that honestly that you fight for someone else and it is the same result in your mind then I will agree with you only in your case though (theres always exceptions to the rule)and I take back everything I said because its your world and I cant begin to percieve know what you know and vice versa.

I'm sorry, are you debating whether Jesus existed or not?
