Of course we digress. The issue was whether Jesus was a failed leader. I would have so say yes but with a qualification. I don't believe the Jesus wanted to be a leader and was actually quite happy with the small following he had at the time. When we think about leaders from 2000 years ago the one's which were significant were people like Julius Caesar or even Nero. These individuals made history in their own time whereas Jesus was fundamentally an unknown in his own time. It wasn't until later when religious leaders promoted through writings that he became significant.

Many people become more famous in death than they ever were in life. This is not suprising because the myth often exaggerates the reality.

Oh, right, that is how you dispute what i say, without even answering the argument. My faith in the teaching of Jesus is most definitely faith, as is the existence of God... just like your belief that God does not exist is based upon faith... but hey, that's for another thread.

But still, do you dispute Jesus' existence?

no ofense, but those who waste time acknowledging some jew from 2000 years ago also fit the description of failure, because surely you can not acknowledge anything with certainty, especialy considering that the bible was written by the people after he was dead, people who controled the press and not necessarily people who knew Jesus

I agree and the funny thing his he has faith in God. Because no one can disprove God doesnt exist so he just has faith in his self to be true.

And if you have an impossible task you have faith that you can achieve it.

So why should ones faith be true while another is false.
