Even the entire logic of Saddam supporting terrorists made no sense. The administrator doesnt seem to understand that there are different types of bad guys. Those who want to destroy, and those who simply want to retain their power (others exists too).

I figured the WMD were unlikely to show up when they weren't used on our troops during the invasion. IMO most people saw the writing on the wall after David Kay's report to congress in late 2003. |

No WMD in Iraq? Holy cow. What an unanticipated turn of events.
In other news, scientists at Oxford university admitted yesterday that the sun is hot. Never saw that coming. And for the people who posited that since the soldiers voluntarily signed up for the military, they and their families have no right to complain, I submit the following: when civilians join the military, they DO assume the risk that they will be called to put their lives in danger, BUT the country makes an implied promise that it will not put their lives in danger UNLESS it is absolutely necessary for our nation's defense. Bush violated that implied promise -- as have other presidents before him. Just because a person joins the military does not mean that we should be able to put them in harm's way whenever we choose and for whatever reason we choose. We should respect and honor our soldiers if for no other reason than that they have shown themselves to be far more worthy of that respect and honor than the government we chose for this country.
