Default The Kyoto Treaty

Pardon, but I've forgotten. Did the Senate ratify the Kyoto Treaty?

If not, then Clinton may not have signed because it would have been pointless anyway.

I'll back up SS. He clearly stated that Clinton refused to sign it. Clinton was a bigger panderer than Bush. Clinton would do or not do anything depending on political expediency...No matter what he was for or against.

Default Nowhere were Clinton's propensities to try and please

everyone demonstrated more clearly than in Somalia where he placed our troops in harms way with no clear plan of action or goal, and where he allowed the opinions of the world to dictate military policy. Say whatever you will about Bush, he's allowed our armed forces to do their jobs with minimal political meddling.

Clinton's handling of Somalia was and is unforgivable.

Clinton did not try to sign the treaty...thats all that matters. Everything else is speculation.

Why would he have done that if he supported it so much?

Why, did someone restrain him or something? Did Bush use his mind control powers to force Clinton not to sign it?

I didnt attemtp to state it as fact...I implied it was an opinion before. And I just directly told you it was an opinion above.

Post your proof that Clinton wanted to sign the Kyoto treaty, even though he didnt.

why does he personally have to sign it for him to approve it. has president he has a lot to do, this and many other things was given to the vice to ease up his timetable.
