I think that , much like huge government programs, there tends to be a lot of waste and ineffectiveness. Now try doing that with world.....yeah, I imagine that thier would massive problems as different economic, religious, and political aspects of every nation on the earth (or even just the UN) collide. Nope sorry, I may be a democrat but huge governments just need to be checked for waste. I mean, I think national governments are capable of this (just barely) but not global organizations.
