how can it be wrong to send someone to their destination? they arn't killing some one...they are giving them life, the gift of a better life, an afterlife!

Well if we're speaking about the afterlife and other religious things.....which I know mouse that you have problems doing.....think of how many lives the priest will not be able to help save from (*)(*)(*)(*)ation if he is murdered. Of course this is meant to be hypothetical to you myopic.

well i don't thing theres anythign in the bible that says if you don't have last rites you wont go to heaven. anyway were are talking about a small number of deaths in priests. we arn't taliking "preistaside" - i don't see why religious types don't become lemmings!

Seriously, myopic, most religions go into great detail on the whys and wherefores of death. Much of it has to do with "we were put here by God, and God will decide when our time is up", or "our suffering here on earth serves a purpose, and our reward will be in Heaven."

In either case, looking for a shortcut by offing yourself is verboten.
