Uh, Schwarzwald, did you notice that everyone of your examples of communism created a government which resulted in the deaths of millions and rampled on human rights? Maybe, communism tends to do that... every time...

Default I have a simply question

Will my life be better off under communism, and if so, how?

Honestly, I am quite happy with how my life is going. I would be very cautious to admit that somehow communism will enhance my life in any way given its disastrous history.

Default Communism

Only appeals to those who have nothing. It's a sham (like those get-rich quick schemes) to win over the people with promises of economic equality and wealth for all. Once you brainwash them, you can then institute a totalitarian regime and oppress the people for decades.

Really, communism has failed many times over. Why do people still insist that a "next time" will produce better results?

Default I couldn't say it better than him

The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries.

Default yeah, that's true

I guess in a communist state there are SOME people who remain wealthy, and powerful, such as Castro and Stalin. Of course they are the only people.....

Default Animal Farm

Well, another Brit by the name of George Orwell had that base covered...

"All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others."

Actually, Eric Blair was a Socialist in theory...he just realized that parties and humanity corrupt the ideal. He didn't like Capitalism either.

Name one state where Capitalism has succeded in. Name a state where there have been no unnecessary wars and murder of anyone, and where there is an equality in wealth. The U.S. has tons of wealth, but really, it is so unequal one could almost laugh at it. Communism itself is simply an isolated and monopolistic business interest. That's really all it boils down too.

Democracy. Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.
That's all our freedom is.

Default Go for it, Comrade!

I wish you the best of luck with your endeavour. What is currently in place only works on the back of massive armaments, global slaughter, fear and revenge and oppression. (And lies). So Im willing to try anything - go you good thing you!
