Default world’s most dangerous terrorist…

I used to think the answer to this was Bin Laden, but after reading an article called "The Brain" (playboy's june issue), I switched my opinion to Khalid Shieikh Mohammed. Does anyone else agree with me?

This guy was the mastermind behind so many terrorist attacks (incl. 9/11) that it made my head spin. It was also surprising to read that he received his bachelor's degree here in the States, with classmates describing him as a "class clown". Simply crazy, and scary when you think about it.

Thoughts or opinions?

Steve

I don't know if it can be brought down to just one person. But yes, I remember reading about Khalid Shieikh Mohammed even before 9/11. And he was a very important "capture."

And there's some pretty good proof that Mohammed and bin Laden had connections with Saddam Hussein and Iraq before 9/11. To connect the dots, one must go back to some pre-9/11 articles that appeared on CNN and other reputable media outlets at that time. According to CNN....and others.....Saddam Hussein offered bin Laden asyllum in Iraq:

February 13, 1999
Bin Laden reportedly leaves Afghanistan, whereabouts unknown
CNN.com

Iraqi President Saddam Hussein has offered asylum to bin Laden, who openly supports Iraq against the Western powers."

"December 28, 1999
Iraq Tempts Bin Laden To Attack West
The Herald (UK) by Ian Bruce
The world's most wanted man, Osama bin Laden, has been offered his worldwide terrorist network succeeds in carrying out a campaign of high-profile attacks on the West over the next few weeks.
Intelligence sources say the Saudi dissident believed responsible for the bombings of American embassies in Kenya and Tanzania and a US military barracks in Saudi Arabia in 1998, is running out of options for a safe haven.
He is now thought to have overcome his initial rejection of Saddam Hussein, whom he regarded as an exploiter of the Islamic cause rather than a true believer, and is considering the offer of a bolt-hole from which he can continue to mastermind terrorism on a global scale."

There are lots more old articles within this link. One can learn a lot by going back in time and reading the articles of that particular time.

Default Not OBL

Osama Bin Laden has very little to do with the operational arm of the Al Qaeda Network, he is more of a morale booster and a figure head. He is also the "concept guy" of sorts.

I would saw that at this very moment the world's most dangerous terrorist is Abu Musab Al Zarqawi

Default Curious George Dumby@zz Butchit

Bush is. He's responsible for more dead americans and ppl internationally than Osama and he's been more destructive to this countries economy and military and greater strategic interest than Al Qaeda could ever be. Osama's competent unlike George who can't even eat a pretzel. you want me to provide a link for this JP5? Theres nothing like pushing a jingoist's buttons. Ya they didn't wanna disturb bush a few weeks ago there while he was learning to ride a bike
